Beaver Bait?

My friend has a beaver problem. Beavers are wrecking his trees. What have you used for beaver bait?

they eat trees so use fresh polar trees.probably won't work so where there they slide ddown on the banks put conibears there.and in the water where there are really narrow spots in creeks put a 330 conibear there.

i ment poplar trees.it doesn't work that great and beavers don't eat peanut butter.only parts of trees and i know as a a fact that it will not work as bait.
